Brug chatbotten til sproglige rettelser

Er botten sluppet ind i klasseværelset, kan du lige så godt udnytte dens styrker. Fx kan den klare den rutinemæssige del af rettearbejdet.

Brug af AI-chatbots i forbindelse med undervisning skal ske under hensyntagen til gældende regler om datasikkerhed og GDPR.

Aktiviteten er egnet til engelsk på alle niveauer.

 

Formålet er at diskutere forskellige løsninger på sproglige problemer og forbedre elevernes sprog.

Læringsrum

Gør tydeligt opmærksom på, at vi anvender kunstig intelligens i “læringsrummet”, hvor vi øver os, og bliver dygtigere, bl.a. ved at diskutere forskellige sproglige problemstillinger, og ikke i “præstationsrummet” (prøver og eksamener), hvor man viser, hvad man kan selvstændigt. 

Aktiviteten giver eleverne et indblik i deres typiske fejl, og de lærer at bruge teknologien til systematisk at træne sproglig korrekthed. Det skal ikke opmuntre eleverne til at gå den nemme vej og blindt stole på teknologiens forslag, men i stedet til at bruge de teknologiske hjælpemidler kritisk og som en partner i deres læreproces.

Formålet er ikke at aflevere et korrekt produkt, men at forbedre den sproglige udtryksevne.

 

Aktivitetens opbygning

Eleverne oversætter først en tekst i klassen eller hjemme. Vælg en kort og overskuelig tekst - det kan fx være en oversættelsesopgave, der hører til en novelle i en grundbog.

Eleverne uploader oversættelsen, og læreren bruger AI til sproglige rettelser. Næste time afleverer læreren rettelser og arbejdsopgaver, og eleverne arbejder videre med teksten.

 

1. Læreren bearbejder outputtet 

Læreren skriver en instruks og klipper en elevbesvarelse ind i prompten på SkoleGPT til sproglige rettelser (SkoleGPT kræver ikke login og overholder dermed GDPR-regler)

Læreren kopierer chatbottens svar over i et dokument. Hvis teksten indeholder et uoverskueligt antal rettelser, kan læreren reducere antallet og/eller markere væsentligheden af fejlene. Læreren kan også fremhæve elevens gode oversættelsesforslag.

Skriv en instruks til, hvordan eleven skal arbejde med rettelserne: Man beder eleven være opmærksom på de sproglige problemer, SkoleGPT har rettet. Eleven kan enten notere fejltyperne på egen hånd, eller læreren kan (på lavere niveauer) udlevere en liste, hvor eleven skal krydse af: stavefejl, kongruensfejl, adjektiv/adverbiumfejl, ordstillingsfejl osv. Disse er selvsagt fejltyper, eleven skal undgå fremover. Eleven kan således opstille sin personlige liste over typiske fejl. 

Læreren viser, hvor eleverne kan finde hjælp til deres fejltyper, og i resten af timen arbejder eleverne med at forstå, hvordan de undgår at lave samme fejl fremover.

 

2. Eleverne bruger SkoleGPT til sproglige rettelser

Måske er det mere oplagt (og tidsbesparende) at bede eleverne om selv at bruge kunstig intelligens til sproglige forbedringer. Dette kunne fx gøres i forbindelse med en genaflevering. Eleven afleverer et næsten færdigt udkast til læreren og får personlig, konstruktiv feedback på indholdet. Samtidig beder eleven chatbotten om kommentarer til det sproglige. Det kan fx se således ud:

En del fejl er sjuskefejl, og her er ikke meget at diskutere. Men indimellem skal eleven alligevel bruge kritisk sans, fx vil vi gerne have, at elever resumerer i præsens, og her skal bottens rettelsesforslag altså ignoreres. 

Ovenstående kan også laves som peer feedback, hvor elever to og to læser hinandens opgaver og bruger chatbotten til at komme med forbedringsforslag. Tvivlsspørgsmål kan gennemgås på tavlen.

 

Evaluering

Man kan i klassen lave en liste over, hvilke typer af rettelser og kommentarer SkoleGPT er velegnet til at hjælpe med - og hvor den kommer til kort. Læreren kan også vise et eksempel, som klassen så diskuterer.

Man kan endvidere bede eleverne bruge chatbot i opgaver, der ikke vurderes med karakter, og lade dem reflektere over, om sproget bliver forbedret. Og om det eventuelt bliver for upersonligt og maskinelt.
